Gabriel Deshaies-Daigneault, a forest engineer specializing in urban forestry for over 15 years, is the founder and president of Xylème Inc. He has extensive experience in assessing urban trees, having inspected and analysed tens of thousands of trees to date and written as many reports with a professional signature (inspections, tree-cutting permits, preservation recommendations, tree appraisal, impact studies, etc.). Gabriel Deshaies-Daigneault has very good knowledge of the municipal environment through working as a consultant in urban forestry and arboriculture in many cities and municipalities, ever since the beginning of his career. In addition, he has been involved in the inventory and characterization of the tree heritage of many owners of large-scale tree populations.

Since 2015, Gabriel Deshaies-Daigneault has been certified by the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) as a Certified Arborist. He has participated in numerous workshops and conferences related to arboriculture and urban forestry in order to maintain the highest standards of technical knowledge. He holds the vast majority of professional certifications available in Quebec, particularly in the area of risk management related to urban trees.

Biologist and arborist certified by the ISA, Caroline Roy has nearly 20 years of experience in plant biology and ornamental horticulture.

She joined the Xylème team full-time in 2022 after having worked for 15 years in municipal urban forestry with the Town of Rosemère, for which a Canadian award of exceptional merit for tree management was awarded in 2022.

Caroline Roy specializes in plant expertise of all kinds (tree inventories, alternatives to pesticides, ornamental horticulture) as well as project planning, particularly for tree planting.

In recent years, she has participated in numerous training courses in arboriculture, horticulture and the management of invasive exotic species.

Xylème also counts on the support of other arboriculture professionals who collaborate on various projects throughout the year.
